This movie brings lots of reflection and very good acting for a very realistic situation. I was married to my ex husband for 13 years. After 45 years of living a lie I came out to my, at the time, husband. However I had not had an affair. At the same time I was also dealing with childhood trauma that I also had not dealt with for 45 years. So between having to tell my husband that though I loved him but was never in love with him, that I was gay and the hurt that I had caused him having to tell him those things and also dealing with all the trauma from childhood that I never dealt with I went head first into a downward spiral into a nervous breakdown. It is a very difficult and real life situation and I feel these actors played this out very well. During this time before I was able to bounce back from all of that a devil swept in and destroyed my soul and my world around me. Domestic violence doesn't wait it's turn in life to happen. It happens in the middle of what ever part in life you're in. I know this movie isn't about domestic violence, but I just wanted to make a point on how devastating life can be and how the choices that we make in life can effect everything, in many ways.
I didn’t expect this movie to affect me the way it did. 💔 It reminded me of my ex and all the memories we made together. Even after all this time, I still catch myself wondering what could have been. Moving on has been much harder than I ever imagined.
