First five minutes, a load of nonsense – these actors have obviously never fired a rifle in their lives. 12.30 minutes in, and it's pure American "Mine's bigger than yours" juvenile big talk. One can tell a lot about what's in store, all within a few minutes, and I can bet that it won't get any better! Time for me to leave!

Two months after my last comment, I'vr just had another look – realised I'd overlooked something/ Here, the Caprain refers to Operation Mincement – a highly secret operation, so secret that not even the Americans knew of it, because like all secret militiary intelligence, the Americans were never involved; yet this Captaind say "We …" planted a dead body with false information on a Spanish beach to fool the Germans. There was no American "WE!" Like all crap American films, the Yanks always steal British events in which they never took part, for Operation Mincement was a 100% British scheme! There was no American Captain Lewis and no operation such as this fictional raid the supposed captain was involved in. So it's all hogwash! The only thing that's true about this film is that it's American!

I just found the first error in the movie. The WW2 M-1 Garand is supposed to have lock bar rear sights. Worst shots I've ever seen with never ending enbloc clips. Guess the director doesn't realize that an enbloc clip only holds 8 rounds. I can't believe no one ever reloads. Terrible movie; not realistic. Cheers from an old Marine sergeant/Vietnam vet in eastern TN
