Remember the government have failed before to prevent global pandemic like HIV+, SARS COVID-03 and COVID 19. I think the government can only contain the outbreak that is quick to detect and doesn't last long in it's mortality rates like Ebola.

I liked the movie, it was different from any other zombie movie, it attracts my attention that started just like resident evil, but, turns out as an unexpected ending.
I lasted 30 minutes. A zombie movie, Coronavirus, and climate change all wrapped into one. Ugh!

For those moaning about the situation at the beginning of the movie here's a explanation for why the chaos is only in specific areas whilst others are vacant. The streets are empty because people took refuge in their homes and basements , The mall is full because members of those groups taking refuge sent family members on import journeys to gather essential food rations and living supplies from the mall , The carpark is empty because everyone who was late to the mall is now running scared of the infected in the mall upon approaching it as the numbers of infected have quickly increased as the zombies bite those who went there for food yet still didn't think to go a few days later in stealthy smaller groups so as not to get seen in the mall by said zombies and bitten . Are you happy now. And no I didn't write the script I just have a working brain.
