Reviews:
“Amazing story written by Nisha Sabharwal, based on teenage Indira, who’s found herself torn between true love and the duty to follow through with an arranged marriage. It’s a romantic film set agaisnt the background of the struggle three generations of women in male dominated 1930’s British India. There is mystery and mysticism in the story as well. Through Indira’s heartbreaking journey to self discovery, long held secrets come to light as she discovers the strength within herself to break free. The film showcases the inner workings of an affluent, sophisticated, western educated Indian family, providing Hollywood with its first look at aristocratic India.”

Show CommentsWhat a beautiful story ❤
Geez! Is Amma dead or not?! I'm so confused! 🤣🤣
Strange and confusing. Corrupted people keeping a spiritual tradition? The worst was the Swami. I think the film was made to discredit gurus and tradition.
Where is a traditional Indian woman to go if she can't go back to her family and she left her husband and her spiritual guru whatever you'd call him ? Confusing and not very realistic but it was very atmospheric and I do like that the matriarchs in the family we're all depicted us very beautiful and not just the young leading lady !
A beautiful movie with beautiful actresses and actor’s, but the red line in the story is confusing and unclear, the scenes that follow each other are without any real logician which makes this movie more confusing and difficult to understand, story too bad!
