This whole still a Nazi all these years later is so old and played out. Just be a creepy person, adding Nazi no longer adds anything scary or even desirable. Maybe back in the 70s or 80s it had some extra value.

I have seen this theme played too many times.
I understand the drastic lighting contrast- it is supposed to add to the unrealness but the modern drowning out of dialogue ruins modern movies.
I don't know how many times I have to say this, "STAHP COLORING MOVIES BLUE AND YELLOW." There are so few modern directors who won't follow the ad idiots who insist you have to give the viewers the utterly stupid superficial things. Let's try story, acting, and cinematography next time.
